The 44th Essen Motor Show has started with high torque and powerful acceleration. With a total of approx 109,000 visitors on the first three days of the event, it shows a great improvement of numbers compared with previous years.

“We are once more driving in the fast lane,” stress the organisers of the most important annual automobile fair in Germany. The fair which began two years ago is convincing the exhibitors and the visitors, Frank Thorwirth, Chairman and CEO of Messe Essen, and Egon Galinnis, Managing Director of Messe Essen, are making an initial positive interim assessment.

“It has proven to be right to place greater faith in sportiness once again. Our four-pillar model consisting of motor sport, tuning, sporty series automobiles and classic cars is forming a sturdy chassis for the Essen Motor Show. Every year here in Essen, the fans repeatedly have the opportunity to see drivers and their vehicles.

The visitors are taking in the wide diversity of car makes in the tuning sector at the fair - from the noble accessory right up to tuned complete vehicles, including a whole host of new vehicles.
